ABOUT THE TUTORS
| Davina Wynne-Jones is the founder of Herbs for Healing. She turned to horticulture and herbalism as a career in her fifties although her study of herbs has been life long. Davina began making herbal concoctions for her own use in the early 1970's when there was a revival of interest in the subject. She planted her first herb garden at this time and had access to the many old herbals that her mother, horticulturalist Rosemary Verey, was collecting. Davina qualified as a masseuse in 1990 and incorporated aromatherapy oils and flower essences in her work. Since she started Herbs for Healing in 2005 she enjoys working with the plants themselves. Davina has a degree in Fine Art and worked for many years as a printer and printmaker as well as running her late father's museum, Arlington Mill for 10 years. |
