Herbs for healing can be found in a secluded field in Barnsley, Nr Cirencester, Gloucestershire. The business was started in 2005 and specialises in growing medicinal plants, making remedies from them and spreading the word about them. Plants are available to buy at various plant sales and markets during the season or from the field itself by appointment.

The business is run by Davina Wynne-Jones who grew up in the famous gardens at Barnsley House learning much from her mother Rosemary Verey with whom she shared a passion for herbs.   Davina previously kept horses and sheep in the field and it seems to suit the herbs well, they have been growing prolifically.

In the summer of 2007 Davina ran some courses (bringing in experts where needed) in the practical use of the herbs   - making tinctures, ointments, creams and flower essences.The programme for 2008 will include the above and also soap making, herbal first aid, and plant spirit work.

The field is available for short term camping and retreats.
